Lawrence is a successful personal trainer in London, who has worked with some of the world’s supreme Hollywood celebrities, including the leading actress in Gatsby (starring Leonardo DiCaprio), Carey Mulligan. It became swiftly apparent, when talking to Lawrence, that he really was an expert in his field. We picked up some excellent fitness tips in that first meeting! However, Lawrence felt frustrated. He had all this expertise to share with the world, and no time to do it in. He wasn’t sure where to start, and he needed our help to reach out to his target audience.
Harnessing Social Media Power
Listening to Lawrence speaking, it was immediately obvious to us that social media was the best route for us to use. Lawrence’s target market were a media savvy, technological crowd, and they would be actively using social media to stay on top of the latest fitness news and reviews.
In short, Lawrence needed online content to engage with fitness enthusiasts. He needed to not only engage with them, but entice them to visit his site. He needed a comprehensive package – compelling copy, informative videos and eye-catching imagery. Now, it was our time to shine.
Our first task? Developing FaFitSake – a light-hearted, informative website, designed to reflect Lawrence’s own proactive, likeable personality. The aim of the site was to reach out to as many people interested in fitness and healthy eating as possible. The catchy name stuck in people’s minds, and the content provided them with practical, useable tips to adopt in their everyday lives.
We still support the site with social media posts and blog updates. Of course, it is important to adopt a cohesive tone, so we keep things light-hearted, engaging and tailored to suit the energetic audience we are aiming at.
We’re pleased to say that Lawrence got some fantastic results from our campaign. Within only a few months, he was receiving serious interest from big brands, such as Maxi Nutrition, Bjorn & Borg, My Protein, 1Rebel and Venice Marathon.
